Voice.Idea.MyThought

What is the significance of the writer's claims that this new style of journalism has turned politics into a "blood sport . . .and an exercise in serial lying."?

I believe that explaining the significance is beyond my capability. Why is that? There is no amount of word or phrases the can truly symbolize the significance of this new style of journalism because there shouldn't be one. At the end of the day, the things said in politics merely implies what and how the person is. It is up for us, whether to acknowledge his or her reflection through "half empty or half full" ideals. In my opinion, those can argue otherwise,  I fully agree to the writer's claim that politics turned into a blood sport and exercise of serial lying. The majority of the politicians now, state claims that are just a display of deceit to the people to their own benefit. As they say it is easier said than done, this quote applies to fact that things are being said but, those statements doesn't necessarily entitle to the doing of such action. I conclude my opinion.
