Explore your mask. What does it say? What does it hide? Who built it?
The mask that I put on is built by me. I'll be a hypocrite if I say the mask I wear is all because of me. The thing is it isn't. The power is given to me to build the mask but the pushing will is from many different aspects. An aspect is the society's dictation of the human beings. I, myself, gets pressured by the unwritten laws/rules. It instigates me to oblige without being consciously awake. You can say I'm a victim but, I beg to disagree it is just up to me to release from my invisible cuffs of society. For now, I can say I still follow but, with much more consciousness to it. Another aspect is the perception of how things is and should be. This differs due to the understanding what is right and wrong. My mask says, point of view of others, I can see through you. As a mask wearer, I can't truly pin down what it hides because I might know either. So, I think in this moment one thing I hide is fear-- rejection.
